The Byrds - Younger Than Yesterday, Mono Vinyl LP
Factory sealed.
The Byrds' first undisputed masterpiece, Younger Than Yesterday is the moment where the group first really clicked as a band and delivered a front-to-back album of innovative and expertly played rock. While their first two albums had been dominated by covers and the songwriting of Gene Clark and the third by covers and his absence, Clark's final song with the group, "Eight Miles High," provided the road map that they followed to pay dirt for every track here: a group approach to songwriting and performance that didn't allow one member to take over, finally solidifying themselves as a great American band.
